The aim of the project is to increase small and medium-sized enterprises’ investments in R & D in measurement technology for environmental measurement and contribute to national investments and new establishments in the region. The increased research creates a great opportunity for companies to develop new products and services in the long term, which leads to companies growing. The project has chosen to focus on the environments of airports, fiber banks, industries and ski resorts. These are environments where there is a great need for new research and knowledge and have good conditions for improving and streamlining society and companies, which strengthens the attractiveness and competitiveness of companies and the region. To achieve the desired effect, the project will include methods and techniques for strategic communication of environmental monitoring and project results in order to stimulate investments in environmental remediation, new establishments and investments in the region. The project will also contribute to the horizontal criteria through the new knowledge and the new solutions in measurement technology and environmental monitoring will result in reduced environmental impact and a better environment. The project is planning several activities aimed at more women and immigrants starting to work with research and development, which is important for increased gender equality and increased innovation capacity. Through the new measurement technology, people with disabilities will also have better access to industrial environments. The results of the project will be distributed and communicated to target groups and stakeholders through both broad and targeted communication adapted to purpose and recipients.
