The overall aim of the project is by creating an internationally competitive sustainable management system to contribute to the 180 small and medium-sized initiatives in the primary and secondary tourism industry to achieve long-term growth and jobs all year round. They also want to improve the conditions for business development and commercialism. Through a number of investments in led-infrastructure and digitalisation together with business-developed workshops, the aim is to reach the project goals. The business community is strongly involved in the implementation of the project and at the end of the project Funäsfjällen will have one of Europe’s most competitive management systems and the best overall product for the guest. In the long term Destination Funäsfjällen will be responsible for managing the results of the project.
