Pilot study Sunshine – energy efficient environments for Skåne’s regional museums

The project is a feasibility study where Malmö museums together with Kulturen in Lund, Region Museum in Kristianstad and property owners will investigate what energy efficiency solutions there are for indoor climate and lighting in their buildings. The problem to be solved in a future implementation project is to find energy-efficient solutions for indoor climate and lighting in the museums. The following areas are to be investigated and specific questions must be preserved in the feasibility study: — Current analysis – Method development – Energy efficiency – Potential suppliers – Visitor perspective – Behaviour and routines – Goals for the implementation project The regional business community will be involved in the feasibility study by inviting them to an introductory workshop where goals and activities are presented and to a closing seminar where the starting point for the discussion is future collaborations. At the end of the project, a number of proposals for measures should be presented that form a basis for decision-making to relevant politicians.
