TODAY, THE STREET LIGHTING NETWORK IS OPERATED BY ELECTROMECHANICAL SYSTEMS OPERATING THROUGH A TWILIGHT SENSOR OPERATING REMOTELY, WHICH PROVIDES POWER TO THE LIGHTING LINE. THE CONTROL AND CONTROL OPPORTUNITIES BY THE MANAGEMENT AND MAINTENANCE SERVICES MAY ONLY BE CARRIED OUT LOCALLY, IN ADDITION THE FAULT DIAGNOSTICS MUST BE CARRIED OUT BY STAFF PHYSICALLY CARRYING ON THE SPOT AND, VISUALLY, MONITORING THE STATE OF OPERATION OF ALL THE LAMPS OR OTHER FAILURES. IN ADDITION, THERE IS NO POSSIBILITY OF MONITORING THE ELECTRICITY PARAMETERS, SUCH AS THE STATE OF THE SUPPLY LINES, CONSUMPTION, ENERGY CONSUMED, AND THE DISCONNECTION ETC.. CONSEQUENTLY, THERE IS NO CONTROL, OTHER THAN MACRO ANALYSIS, FOR CONSUMPTION AND MAINTENANCE COSTS. THE PROPOSED CONTROL AND MANAGEMENT SYSTEM IS FULLY AUTOMATED, PROVIDING A CENTRALISED COMMAND AND CONTROL INTERFACE, ALL ACTIVITIES CURRENTLY PERFORMED MANUALLY AND NOT LEAST D
