THE PROJECT FITS INTO THE TECHNICAL/PRODUCTIVE DOMAIN OF AEROSPACE, AND IT HAS AS AN AREA OF INTERVENTION THE METHODOLOGIES, PROCESSES AND SYSTEMS FOR NEW CONFIGURATIONS AND COMPONENTS FOR THE FLIGHT. The priority technology trajectories involve both the development of methodologies for shared design and simultaneous engineering of structural components (AS01), and the Virtual Design & For Qualification and Approval of Parts, Components and Systems (AS14). THE PURPOSE OF THE ÃO PROJECT IS TO DEFINE, DESIGN AND IMPLEMENT A MODULAR IRON BIRD (MIB) DESIGNED TO TEST FLIGHT CONTROLS OF DIFFERENT TYPES OF AIRCRAFT. THE PROJECT IS DESIGNED TO PROVIDE SMALL AVIATION COMPANIES WITH A VERIFICATION TOOL FOR AIRCRAFT COMPONENTS AND FOR THE QUALIFICATION OF THEIR INTEGRATION IN THE AEROPLANE. A BIRD AREA OF AN AEROPLANE CONSISTS OF AN AEROPLANE CAPABLE OF REPRODUCING FAITHFULLY THE MECHANICAL CHARACTERISTICS (E.G. STIFFNESS) OF THE WINGS AND OF THE CONTROL SURFACES FINALZ.
