THE PROJECT PROPOSAL INTENDS TO USE AN INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGICAL SOLUTION FOR FAULT MANAGEMENT IN INTEGRATED ENERGY INTENSIVE SYSTEMS FOR MEDIUM/LARGE SIZE AND/OR GEOGRAPHICALLY DISPERSED, CAPABLE OF AUTOMATIC AND OPTIMISED HANDLING OF POSSIBLE FAULT SITUATIONS IN ALL SYSTEM COMPONENTS, AND WILL PROVIDE INDICATIONS FOR PROPER CORRECTIVE AND PREVENTIVE PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE. IT SHOULD BE POSSIBLE, ON THE ONE HAND, TO REDUCE THE COST OF REPLACEMENT COMPONENTS AND SERVICE DISRUPTIONS AND, ON THE OTHER HAND, TO PLAN THE MAINTENANCE/REPLACEMENT ACTIVITIES ON THE BASIS OF THE ACTUAL WORKING CYCLE AND CONDITIONS OF USE OF THE COMPONENTS.
