Under Sub-measure 1.5.3 – Support provided in the form of IF is directed to companies investing in: — machinery and production equipment to broaden or make product or service offer more attractive; — modern information and communication technologies (ICT); — product and process innovations, e.g. by adapting ready-made technologies and solutions purchased by the company, introducing so-called imitating innovations and innovations on the company scale. Preferences will be granted to projects from the areas of intelligent specialisation of Warmińsko-Mazurskie voivodship. The above-mentioned projects will also be able to invest in the necessary infrastructure closely linked to the subject matter of the project. The following financial instruments will be implemented under this sub-measure: • Loan funds supporting investment plans of a wide group of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises from the voivodship, under which investment projects can be financed by SMEs with the possibility of applying bonuses, in the case of projects with specific development potential for the voivodship. • Guarantee funds and guarantees of bank and non-bank liabilities. • Pilot venture capital investment fund aimed at financing innovative projects. Implementation of the sub-measure 1.5.3 Increasing the competitiveness of enterprises (IF) aims to increase the application of innovation in small and medium-sized enterprises, with the aim of increasing the number of innovations and thus the share of innovative enterprises. Intervention will also increase the level of private investment complementing public support to businesses. The result will be an increase in the number of innovations and thus the percentage of innovative enterprises.
