Under Sub-measure 1.3.3 – Support in the form of IF is addressed to companies (SMEs) in their initial development phase (i.e. operating on the market for no more than 3 years) which will receive capital support. Support will be provided by SMEs to demonstrate the impact of the planned investment on the maintenance/development of the start-up company and the link between the investment and the company’s activities. The following instruments will be implemented under this sub-measure: • Loan funds supporting investment plans and investment and turnover needs of a wide group of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises from the voivodship, where investment projects can be financed by SMEs, and which will be able to finance the needs related to the company’s market activity. • A pilot venture capital fund aimed at financing projects of an innovative nature, thanks to which it will be possible to enter capital into a company dealing with the implementation of a unique technical solution. Investment support will be accompanied by structured substantive support to help start-up entrepreneurs operate on the market in the first 3 years of the company’s existence. Preferences will be granted to projects from the areas of intelligent specialisation of Warmia-Mazury voivodship. The objectives of the project are in line with the assumptions of the SZOOP as follows: the specific objective of sub-measure 1.3.3 The Fund for the Development of New Businesses (IF) aims to improve the conditions for the development of SMEs as a result of which the level of business creation and private investment complementing public support to enterprises will be increased. The objective of the sub-measure is to create better conditions for the development of SMEs.
