Eco-Light in Gliwice – Modernisation and construction of street lighting

The project involves modernising and ordering lighting along the city’s most important urban axes, i.e. on the axis of Z Victory Street and the axis of the Silesian University of Technology running through the streets: Strzody, Wyszyński, pl. It’s Piłsudski’s. In parallel, work will be carried out on lighting the so-called radial roads, which are roads from Gliwice, i.e. Dworcowa, Tarnogórska, Daszyńskiego and Rybnicka streets. As part of the planned activities, luminaires with poles, power cords and lighting cabinets will be replaced. In addition, the project plans to replace sodium luminaires with LED luminaires on selected streets. The aim of the project is to replace current lighting, characterised by high energy consumption and high repair costs, with energy-efficient lighting. The project will result in a 55.6 % reduction in energy consumption and a decrease in CO2 emissions to air by 710.33 t/year.
