The project aims to expand the DW222 from the Gdańsk border to the beginning of Starogard Gdański. The investment covers 6 sections with a total length of approx. It’s 27,7 miles. The project will enlarge the roadway 222 and its construction will be strengthened. Vertical and horizontal arcs will be corrected. Intersections will be rebuilt, pedestrian-bike lines or bicycle paths will be built locally. The implementation of the project will improve road safety, reduce the number of collisions and accidents, improve traffic, improve the comfort of road travel and facilitate the link between Starogard Gdański and the Tricity. Voivodeship Road No 222 will become an alternative route to the area adjacent to the A1 motorway on its western side. The implementation of the project will reduce travel time and increase mobility of society.
