The project is addressed to a group of 3450 people living in the Pomeranian Voivodeship with special attention to the so-called “white spots”. The aim of the project is to increase the participation of people from GD in the program of jel.grub cancer, which is an important barrier to maintaining and prolonging professional activity. At least 40 % of GD will do colonoscopic tests. Specific objectives: Increasing access to research for residents of areas far from medical centres, especially rural and small towns; Raising awareness of the need for prevention studies, especially for “white spots” residents; Increase access to research for people with disabilities. Actions: —Information and education of inhabitants of the voivodship in the field of prevention of jel.gg cancer and the need to carry out preventive research through the production of information materials, web pages of the project, organisation of events, meetings, marches, visits to employers and cooperation with medical units. —Training for educators from one.med.świad.usł.w zakr.POZ and AOS -Implementation of colonoscopy -Activities of the Information Point. These effects should result in faster and more efficient detection of cancer, which will result in more effective treatment and recovery and recovery. We assume a comprehensive formula of care for project participants from arousing interest in the issue (ambitious activities, FB, media selected for the target group), through broad education, information and social awareness building (training, visits to workplaces, local events), to purely medical activities (implementation of preventive research and further care of people at risk of cancer) and strengthening the conviction that individual actions aimed at prevention of anti-cancer must continue in the future. Through the tasks carried out in the project, we create a need for social care for health, raising awareness of the benefits of this type of behavior.
