The scope of the project includes the extension of the F. Chopin building No. 1 in Rzeszów (now unused) for the needs of the Hematology and Nephrology Clinic with the Dializ Station together with the implementation of the necessary technical infrastructure, internal installation and land development. The project also includes a comprehensive purchase of equipment necessary for the proper delivery of health services. The main material effect will be 1 new and comprehensively equipped hospital building, housing the Nephrological and Haematological Clinic (ground floor); Dializ station (26 beds, ground floor); Nephrology Clinic (26 beds, I p.); The Hematology Clinic: Total (19 beds, IIP.); Intensive (10 beds, III p.); Daily (8 beds, IVp.); Haematopoietic Cells Bank with Cystometry Laboratory (IVp.). The implementation of the project will increase the number of beds. The scope of the project covers all 6 floors of building “D” – cellars, ground floor and fourth floor. The project in the field of hospital treatment is consistent with the “Map of needs in the field of hospital treatment for Podkarpackie voivodship (WP)” (as of 31.12.2014). The strategic goal of the project is “improvement of health safety of the population of the WP by improving conditions for the provision of health services in the Hematology and Nephrology Clinic with KSW Dialysis Station No. 1, F. Chopin until 31.12.20120”. This will be achieved through the new specific objectives: 1. Improving by 31.12.2012 the diagnosis and treatment process at the Hematology and Nephrology Clinic with the Dializ Station, which will contribute to faster return of patients to the labour market. 2. It will increase the quality and number of medical services provided, especially in the field of treatment of oncological diseases in the above mentioned cases. Clinics, thus reducing disparities in access to health services occurring in Podkarpacie by 31.12.2020. The result of the implementation will be the improvement of the safety and quality of health services of CSF No. 1 and the increase in availability of modern medical procedures.
