Project applicant “Creation of the Kościuszkowski Museum with permanent exhibition” “Kościuszko – the hero still needed" in the complex of Bastion V in Fort No. 2 "Kościuszko" and the educational route on Kosciuszko Mound in Krakow with adaptation for people with disabilities" is the Kosciuszko Mound Committee. This is the third stage of the work on “Restoration of the historic form of Bastion V”. In 2014 reconstructions of the moat and bridge were carried out in front of the eastern gate of Fort No. 2 “Kościuszko” for the amount of PLN 202 016.50 net. The Kosciuszko Mound Committee in the area of “Restoration of the historical form of Bastion V” in 2015 carried out the first stage of work (part of the project) under the name “Reconstruction of the internal cubature of Bastion V complex for cultural and exhibition purposes” for the amount of PLN 636,639,70 net. The second part of the project under the name “Reconstruction of the internal volume of Bastion V complex for cultural and exhibition purposes” – ETAP II – is currently underway in 2016 for the amount of PLN 376,294,76 net. All the work carried out so far, together with the proposed stage III, constitute a functional whole and it is not possible to separate the individual stages as separate products. Fort No. 2 “Kościuszko” was entered on the list of monuments under the registration number A-308 on 02.01.1968. Decision No.Kl.V.680/75/68, and Kosciuszko Mound was entered on the list of monuments 20.X.1936 under registration number A-954. Action 6.1 Development of cultural and natural heritage with sub-measure 6.1.1. Protection and care of monuments, supports investment projects for maintenance, restoration, revalorisation and cultural adaptation and protection against theft and destruction of movable and immovable technical monuments, in which this project fully fits. The implementation of the programme contributes not only to the protection of Polish cultural heritage but also to the important strengthening of the economic potential of heritage, the development of regions and cities through the
