The aim of the project “Multifunctional system for therapy and rehabilitation using advanced ICT” is to provide a new, innovative product to Med & Life Sp. z o.o. and thus strengthen its competitiveness and market share of medical devices for physical therapy in Poland and abroad. The product is addressed to business customers: medical facilities hospitals, clinics, sanatoriums for physical therapy, rehabilitation facilities, which create a dynamically developing market for services and individual users. The project will be implemented in the partnership of Med & Life. Sp.z.o.o. and scientific unit – Institute of Tele- and Radiotechnical. The project system consists of a set of ICT applications and tools called e-management and a device consisting of a controller and applicators producing therapeutic signals. The controller is equipped with an advanced, personalised user interface with access facilitation functions for disabled people. E-management that creates product innovation allows remote monitoring, supervision, configuration and control of the device. The project involves research into the creation of a system concept and then the development and execution of models of its components: e-management and microprocessor controller producing control and power signals for applicators. A knowledge base will be developed, which will be made available to users by the e-management system as a source of knowledge and structured information in order to efficiently personalise the parameters of the procedure for the patient. The controller with applicators will be able to be used on the premises of medical facilities or at the patient’s home, and e-management will allow you to exercise full control over it, including the supervision of the regularity and regularity of the procedure, which has a direct impact on the effectiveness of the treatment.
