Centre for Regenerative Medicine

The core of the project of the Centre for Regenerative Medicine (CMR) is to integrate existing JRC and CBB laboratories into the new CMR project in order to create new and complement existing laboratories and laboratories, as well as to implement ultra-modern, interdisciplinary and innovative research from the borderline of nanotechnology, tissue engineering and transplantology. The objective of the CMR project is to increase the research potential of the Mazovia Region, which will allow us to compete in the scope of animal model research not only in the country but also abroad. The integration of JRC and CBB into a single facility and the creation of a new operating room (e.g. magnetic field), laboratories and laboratories at the highest global level will allow for innovative research in the field of biomedical sciences, with particular emphasis on the pioneering and extremely dynamic field of regenerative medicine. Combining the experience gained in medicine and veterinary medicine allows the creation of unique animal experimental models with the possibility of applying results in human medicine, conducting innovative nano and biotech experiments. A special and unique feature of CMR is the possibility of testing on an animal model, which creates huge opportunities for development and application under the conditions of applicable regulations resulting from the Act on the Protection of Animals used for scientific and educational purposes. The CMR will carry out modern projects on the borderline of medicine and veterinary medicine, in the field of physiology and pathophysiology of diseases (on animal model, understood as a model for humans), research of diseases and diseases posing a threat to general public health (including civilisation diseases) and innovative research in the field of highly specialised regenerative medicine.
