Establishment of Centrix Information and Implementation Centre

THE AIM OF THE CENTRIX PROJECT IS TO ACHIEVE THE OBJECTIVES OF THE RESEARCH AGENDA, WHICH ARE COMPATIBLE WITH THE OBJECTIVES OF THE REGIONAL SMART SPECIALISATION OF MAZOVIA. Centrix is in line with strategic objective I RIS: enhance and strengthen cooperation in innovation and innovation development processes. In particular, it shall comply with the specific objectives: I. Development of forms of cooperation in business – science relations – environment that guarantee measurable effects for the economy and region II. Increasing the activity of small and medium-sized businesses in cooperation networks with the most innovative domestic and foreign companies IV. Intensification of scientific research, the results of which meet the needs of entrepreneurs and contribute to cooperation and development of network links in the region The project is set out in Annex 5b to the Territorial Contract for Mazovian Voivodship. The project was approved by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education to limit the scope of the project. The infrastructure purchased and manufactured meets the needs arising from the project’s defined objective and the planned research agenda. As a result of the project, a Central Laboratory will be established, which will consist of: I. fast-x: laboratory for rapid radiography II. laboratory of detection systems III. laboratory for non-destructive material research IV. research post of accelerating structures The project consists of investment works (11 tasks) and project management and promotion. The project’s project duration is 48 months. The resulting laboratories will spend 51 % of their working time on economic exploitation and the remaining 49 % of working time for non-economic use, including the implementation of the Research Agenda. Customers will be manufacturing companies (steel, mechanical equipment, industrial laboratories) and research institutions.
