The project aims to improve the effectiveness of the activity of voivodship medicinal entities in the areas of health needs of residents of Lubelskie voivodship through the necessary, from the point of view of providing health services, repair and construction works, including adaptation of infrastructure to the needs of elderly and disabled people, as well as equipment with medical equipment. As a result of the project, patients and employees of the 6 medicinal entities identified in Section I of this proposal will benefit directly. Indirect beneficiaries of the Project include Lubelskie voivodship and its residents, as well as persons temporarily staying in the region. The sources of demand for investment stem from the social expectations of improving the quality and availability of medical services by improving the state of social infrastructure in the region and the need to reduce regional disparities in health infrastructure in EU countries. The total value of the project is PLN 179493505, the co-financing of PLN 151473124.96 of which 41690387,60 (net) for the purchase of medical equipment. The results of the project will be the elimination of dysfunctions that are a barrier to improving the quality of medical services, the remoteness and improvement of current accessibility, the number of people covered by improved health services (target 2147746 in 2021), ensuring access in 4 locations to health infrastructure for people with disabilities. The social dimension includes guarantees of active health protection through appropriate treatment and prevention conditions for groups of diseases that have been identified as important causes of inactivation, guaranteeing improvements in the health safety of the population, mother and child care and care for people with disabilities.
