The main objective of the project is to improve the quality and availability of highly specialised health services for children and young people from the voivodship. The key results of the project, expressed in terms of indicators, are: Population covered by improved health services, worth 400,839 people. The target group, which will benefit from the effects of the project, will be children aged 0-18 years – patients of the University Children’s Hospital in Lublin. The scope of the project will cover the area of Lublin Voivodeship, where the target group will be children aged 0-18 years. Tasks to be carried out in accordance with the factual and financial timetable: preparation of the feasibility study, construction works, installation works, investor supervision, project management and project promotion. The main objective will be achieved by pursuing specific objectives, which include support for health infrastructures contributing to improving the quality of services and reducing territorial disparities, inter alia, by improving the treatment process in all areas of medicine, in particular in the field of paediatric haematology, intensive care and paediatrics. The main objective will result in increased competitiveness in health services through effective treatment and adequate medical care. The implementation of the project will increase the level of coverage of public needs for outpatient and stationary medical services. The project will contribute to the implementation of the following strategic result indicators at the level of the relevant PI (Investment Priority 9a RPO WL 2014-2020): 1) Average hospital stays – by shortening the stay of children and adolescents in hospital through better and comprehensive medical care; 2) Average use of the bed – a more efficient healthcare system will allow more efficient use of available facilities in hospital Number of patients treated in the supported medicinal entities – 79 540 people/year
