The subject of the project is the extension of the section of Voivodeship Road No. 846 with a length of 14.483 km. The implementation of the investment takes place within the changed limits of the road lane throughout its entire length. The project aims to increase the transport accessibility of the region and the entire Lublin Metropolitan Area. Road capacity will increase and a more efficient transport system will facilitate access to investment areas and tourist attractions. The project will contribute to better exploiting the inner development potential of the district, improve communication links, which will accelerate the pace of socio-economic development. In addition to the above, good quality of the road is also an incentive to increase the mobility of residents. The investment will therefore have a positive impact on all user groups using the road: participants in transit traffic, local residents, students, present and potential investors and tourists. Planned output indicators: — Total length of reconstructed and modernised roads (CI14) – 14.483 km – Length of reconstructed voivodship roads – 14.483 km – Number of built/modernised environmental protection devices – 48 pieces. — Number of built/modernised road safety devices – 67 pieces. The scope of the investment includes works in individual sectors: * in the road industry (preparatory robots, earthworks, finishing works, substructures, pavings, markings and safety equipment, road elements), * in the industry engineering facilities (passed, bridge renovation in km 0+ 045,81 parking roads, construction of reinforced granite), * in the sanitary sector (weather drainage), * in the power, telecommunication and sanitary industries (as ineligible expenditure) to rebuild the security of existing colliding devices.
