Strengthening of Lublin’s communication connections in the ring system. Extension of the Voivodeship Road No. 836 Bychawa – Kębłów on the section from km 8 + 590 to km 17+ 205 with a length of approx.8.615 km and reconstruction on the section from km 21 + 100 to km 25+ 978 with a length of approx.4.878 km

This project consists of the extension of the Voivodeship Road No. 836 Bychawa – Kębłów on the section from km 8 + 590 to km 17+ 205 with a length of approx.8.615 km and reconstruction on the section from 21+ 100 to km 25+ 978 with a length of approx.4.878 km, by extending and rebuilding the existing provincial road, increasing its load capacity, improving accessibility to the roads located in the TEN-T network (DK-17). At the same time, the investment will improve road safety through the construction of pavements, pedestrian crossings, lighting, bus bays, etc., improving environmental protection, through the construction of crossings for animals, rainwater drainage and drainage systems. The main objective of the project is to increase the external and intra-regional communication accessibility of the Lublin Metropolitan Area by strengthening Lublin’s communication connections in the ring system. The investment will therefore have a positive impact on all user groups benefiting from the road: participants of transit traffic, local residents, investors and tourists. As a result of the implementation of the project, there will be an improvement of the traffic free of the road, shorter travel time to the destinations of travellers. It will make it possible to move heavy motor vehicles, which will serve the economic development of adjacent towns and municipalities. The implementation of the project will increase regional mobility by combining secondary and tertiary nodes with TEN-T infrastructure. Voivodeship road No. 836 connects directly to national road No. 17 will be in the TEN-T network, which affects the strengthening and closing of connections towards Lublin, Krasnystaw, Zamość and Chełm. Planned output indicators: Total length of reconstructed or modernised vibrations (CI14) – 13,48 km; Length of reconstructed voivodship roads – 13.48 km, Number of built/modernised environmental protection devices – 12 units, Number of built/modernised road safety devices – 20 pieces.
