Adaptation of Waste Management Plants in Lubelskie voivodship to requirements for RIPOK

The main objective of the project is to improve the operation of the municipal waste management system in Lubelskie voivodship through the development and equipment of RIPOK. It will be possible to achieve this objective by achieving the specific objectives, i.e.: — Environmental protection by increasing the efficiency of recovery and recycling of municipal waste – Increasing the capacity of the waste management system of Lubelskie Voivodship The project involved 7 entities: PGK z o. o. with its registered office in Biłgoraj (she fulfils the role of Leader), zzo Mzc Sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Włodava, PGO Sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Chełm, ZUK Sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Puławy, ZZOK in Adamki near Radzynia Podlaski Sp. z o.o. with its seat in Radzyń Podlaski, MSOK The project covers tasks aimed at improving waste management in the Lubelskie Voivodship, in particular it will contribute to the prevention of excessive waste generation, efficient collection, pre-stocking, treatment and subsequent recovery or disposal. The project covers the area of Lubelskie Voivodeship. The results will be translocal and regional in nature. The region will benefit from: Southern, Central-East, North-Western, South-Western, Chełm, Puławy, and to some extent the entire voivodship. The results of the project will benefit both residents of communes included in the system of individual partners of the project as well as farmers (for compost development) and entrepreneurs. The results of the investment will include: — Increasing the recycling capacity of plants in the field of waste recycling by approximately 30 050 Mg, – Increasing the possibility of reprocessing plant waste by about 51 200 Mg, – Index of the number of persons covered by the waste management system at the level of around 835 084 people.
