The main objective of this project is to improve the energy efficiency of the ZSTR boarding house in Piotrowice and to increase the use of RES in public buildings of the Lublin district. The subject of the project is comprehensive energy modernisation of the boarding house, including: modernisation of the central heating system without interference with heat source, warming of the ceiling under unheated attic and ceiling, modernisation of lighting, window replacement, installation of photovoltaic installations. The project also includes the following services: development of feasibility studies, promotion, investor supervision and project management costs as personnel expenses. The dormitory building is located in the zone “B” designated by the MPZP as an intermediate conservation protection of the historic manor-park complex in Piotrowice, entered in the Register of Monuments of the Lublin Voivodeship under No. A/1091. The project will reduce heat consumption by 549.51 GJ/year and electricity by 33.77 MWh/year, reduce primary energy consumption by 269201.88 kWh/year and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 57.95 tCO2/year. The project will also result in an additional 0.03 MW renewable electricity generation capacity. The production of electricity from RES will be 28.80 MWh/year. Implementation of the project results in an increase in energy efficiency by 65.79 %. The main recipients of the project are users of the building which is the subject of the investment, i.e. students of the ZSTR in Piotrowice living in boarding school and persons working there.
