The main objective of the project is to develop research and to intensify cooperation with industry in the field of catalysis applied through comprehensive modernisation of INS research installations for obtaining catalysts and ceramic carriers. Extension of the installation is the last link to modernisation of INS apparatus for testing unit processes of catalysts, sorbents and carriers. Result indicators: 1. Number of researchers working in research infrastructure facilities (CI25): IT’S 6 2. Private investment complementing public support in innovation or R & D projects (CI27): 1 147 836, 25 PLN 3. Number of enterprises using supported research infrastructure: IT’S 10 4. Number of new researchers in supported units (CI24): 5. Number of R & D projects carried out using supported research infrastructure: 5 target groups: 1) INS staff responsible for catalysis research (ZPB and BK divisions). They will receive a unique apparatus on the scale of Wr.-East Europe, which will allow for wider research, 2) Industry – domestic and foreign companies from the chemical industry (mainly fertilisers) will have access to state-of-the-art equipment and the possibility of introducing new technologies into business 3) Research institutions. Tasks: 1) Implementation of design documentation 2) Purchase of a node for preparation of raw materials (e.g. stream mill for grinding of raw materials) 3) Purchase of granulate preparation node: crusher, granular/wasteer, drying room, transport containers and dust removal system and screen 4) Purchase of forming nodes: tablet and dust removal system 5) Laboratory apparatus: weight and bevel mill 6) Adaptation of rooms: hall E24 (1307 m²) and laboratory building E40 7) Assembly, start-up, testing Product Indicators: 1) Number of scientific units bearing investment outlays on R & D – 1 2) Investment outlays on the purchase of scientific and research equipment – 9 096 383,94 PLN
