The project is compatible with the goal of the Osi Pr. 4, which is to improve the natural environment and address the risks arising from climate change and protect cultural heritage. The project is part of the goal of increasing the number of inhabitants of the region benefiting from the cultural heritage of the Lubuskie Voivodeship. The subject of the project is the reconstruction and expansion of the building at ul. Wyszyńskiego 19A for the needs of the cultural and education unit, i.e. McKie “House of Scout” in GG. As part of the investment, infrastructure will be created that will improve the quality of the work of the facility. It will gain additional workshops, a place for archiving, rooms with appropriate technical characteristics (e.g. surface, cupboard, acoustics), such as a spectacle hall. The aim of the project is to increase the number of people from the functional area of Zielona Góra, who will benefit from the cultural and educational offer. The objective will be achieved by adapting the free cultural offer to the demand reported, in particular in terms of the number of activities, thematic scope and the number of places, creating conditions conducive to the creativity and development of employees, improving the attractiveness and accessibility of activities, including making use of the offer of disabled people and other residents regardless of the state of health (mobility), social and property status. Reducing the differences in access to cultural life and ensuring equal access to good quality artistic education by improving the quality and accessibility of public offerings will enable people to become active in the sphere of culture, and will allow them to exploit their potential for the development of the region, thereby improving the quality and attractiveness of life in the IF ZG.The investment will also enable the introduction of e-services using ICT in the activities of the institution.The project’s impact area covers children from more than 4 municipalities and is supraregional.
