The project’s applicant is the Municipality of Nowa Sól – City. The partners of the project are Kożuchów Municipality, Nowa Sól Municipality, Otyń Municipality, Siedlisko Municipality, Kolsko Municipality. The Supporting Partner is the New Solid District. The main objective of the project is to reduce the low emissions of pollutants from the transport sector and to reduce the outflow of public transport in the Newsol Sub-area Functional Sub-Sales The necessity to implement the project is due to the need to improve the quality and efficiency of environmentally friendly urban transport, competitive to individual transport, and the integration of various modes of transport in the communes of the Newsol Sub-Area Functional Area. The project pursues a number of specific objectives described in Chapter II.1.2 SW and contributes to the achievement of the indicators indicated in Section C of the Application. The scope of the project will cover the following category of infrastructure and investment tasks: 1. The purchase of a rolling stock. 2. Construction of a bus depot with the necessary technical infrastructure in Nowa Sól. 3. Construction of local Passenger Service Centres with land development and associated technical infrastructure networks. 4. Construction of the New Sole Passenger Service Centre in Nowa Sól – extension of ul. Merchandise and St. Reunification in New Salt 5. Reconstruction of the building of the railway station in Nowa Sól with adaptation of the rooms for the needs of the Passengers Service Centre of the New Solo sub-area Functional Area. 6. Design and development of a dynamic passenger information system. 7. Design and creation of an electronic ticket system. In addition, the investment envisages the implementation of preparatory and investment accompanying activities, as well as investor supervision and promotion of the project. Built and purchased elements of the project will be used by all residents of the town of Nowa Sól and neighbouring communes to which bus lines will be operated by the Intercommunity Entrepreneur
