Det overordnede mål med projektet er at øge antallet af avancerede studieprogrammer inden for STEM, herunder de medicinske og kreative industrier. Det specifikke formål med projektet er at øge antallet af moderniserede RTU STEM-studier ved at forbedre og udvikle RTU-infrastrukturen. RTU infrastrukturudviklingsstrategi fokuserer på udvikling af territorialt koncentrerede undersøgelser og videnskabelig arbejdsinfrastruktur og styrkelse af strategisk specialisering. Med hjælp fra dette projekt vil RTU fortsat investere i områder, hvor reform- eller omstruktureringsmålene endnu ikke er nået, og denne støtte vil være en logisk fortsættelse af de investeringer, der allerede er foretaget eller finder sted, og som vil blive baseret på 2008. Erfaringer fra 2015 og opnåede resultater og RTU's udviklingsstrategi 2015. EFRU-finansiering — 99 666 312,05 EUR og statsbudgetfinansiering — 175 760,95 EUR).
