M30 motorway implementation of Miskolc-Tornyosnémet project

The M30 express road is part of the trans-European transport network, including the complementary TEN-T network. The section is connected to the express road R4 Kassa (Kosice) — Miglécnémet (MILHOST') planned by the Slovak Republic, next to the border crossing point in the municipality of Tornyosnémet. Initiatives to develop north-south connections within the European Union have recently appreciated, and the need for an M30 expressway has become stronger. The material section of the express road M30 extends from the end section of the existing M30 motorway (30+ 150 km) between the starting section of the section between the Tornyosnémet-national border (88+ 150 km) in 58 km length. The road category is a 2x2 lane + an asphalt motorway with a cross-sectional section with a design speed of 130 km/h. Coronal width: 26.60 m. Traffic nodes have a separate level design. The section is expected to include the following nodes: — Szikszó — South traffic junction — Szikszó-West traffic junction — Main road No M30-3 — road no. 2624 j. — 3703 j. road junction — main road no. M30-33606 junction (Garadna) — Road M30-33606 junction (Garadna) The section includes the Motorway Engineering (which also takes over the tasks of the existing Szikszó Engineering) and a complex rest area in the area of Csobád, 1 simple resting place in the area of Szikszó and Hernádvécse. The section crosses the flood drainage of Felsőzsolca, which requires the construction of a 300 m-long bridge structure. It is foreseen that 30 bridge structures will be built on the section The tasks to be carried out during the preparation of the section are: — Preparation of feasibility studies and Environmental Impact Assessments and Construction Licensing Plans, including land-use plans. — Conduct an environmental impact assessment procedure. — Preparation of Phase I of the Preliminary Archaeological Documentation for licensing plans, Road Safety Audit. — Amendment of the settlement plan of the municipalities concerned, preparation of the amendment of the Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county settlement plan in the territorial impact assessment procedure. — Carrying out the construction permit procedure, carrying out withdrawal procedures, obtaining final building permits — preparation of public works permit plans agreed with the utilities service providers — acquisition of land, ammunition relief, asset management, archaeology — The contractor selected for construction will be responsible for the preparation of the construction plan, which is expected to be completed by 15 December 2017. Tasks to be carried out during the execution of the section: — Miskolc — Construction and technical inspection of the Tornyosnémet section — execution of entry into service procedures — carrying out replacement expropriation procedures, obtaining land conversion permits, transfer to the land register The Minister of National Development ordered the construction of a 2x2 lane highway cross section in his letter KIF/26791/2015-NFM (12 December 2015). Scheduled for 2019. A provisional authorisation for placing in service will be available by 31 January.
