The project aims at setting up a land data management system that will ensure efficient exchange of land data through electronic services between government departments (Ministry of Justice and the State Geodetic Administration) as data providers (i.e. services) and other defined users. A core public register of land register data (property register) and the data on land registries are stored and maintained through the Common Land Register Information System (CIS). In accordance with the Law on State Information Infrastructure, one of the purposes of the basic registers is to ensure, through the State information infrastructure, that collected authentic data are available to all public sector bodies that are necessary for the performance of their activities, it being essential that the authentic data are collected only once and recorded in the basic register.
