The subject of the project is the implementation of an innovative Active Glass insulated glass for mass use in the construction industry and the mobility industry. The project will be carried out with the participation of the Co-operating Entity. The glass combines the functionality of the generation of electricity, high thermal insulation while maintaining transparency for visible light, reducing the negative effect of lensing (UHI) and provides fire protection. In addition, the proposed solution thanks to the possibility of customising the shape – including bending glass panes, can be used in all types of glazing and fastening systems. The use of low-dimensional materials (QDS, 2D layers) and unique techniques in their production allows to achieve unprecedented parameters and properties on the world market. A high light transmission factor Lt of at least 65 % for a two-chamber package, while at the same time a very favourable value of energy insulation (solar factor g= 0.22 %). Heat transfer coefficient Ug=0.4 W/m2K ensuring high thermal insulation and efficiency of energy conversion eff≥ 8 %. An important advantage is also the fact that the photovoltaic layer provides the generation of electricity regardless of the angle of light. In addition, the glass is available in the version POWER (EI 30, EI 60) providing fire protection. The product will revolutionise the global automotive and construction industry. In the mobility industry, use initially in the windows of public transport vehicles, and over time will become more widely used in all vehicles. The product is the result of own R & D research, patented and unpatented technical knowledge. The implementation of the product will be possible thanks to the investment in a technological line for production and the development and implementation of uniform standards of functioning and promotion of the product, as well as undertaking workshop and training activities.
