The subject of the project is the construction of the Wielkopolska Children’s Health Centre together with accompanying infrastructure and purchase of equipment. The new hospital will be built on the street. Wrzoska, in the vicinity of the Provincial Hospital in Poznań, based on the existing conditions of communication and armament of the area. The entity responsible for the operation of the infrastructure created within the project will be the Specialist Health Care Team for Mother and Child in Poznań, currently carrying out its activities in several locations. For many years, SZOZ has been a key unit of public health care system in Wielkopolskie Voivodship, whose task is to provide comprehensive paediatric care, both in primary and specialised fields, as well as obstetric and gynecological care. However, it has an outdated infrastructure requiring renovations, which to a large extent are not feasible due to, among others, property relationships occupied by the hospital. The technical condition of parts of buildings used does not meet the requirements for such activities set out in the applicable legislation. Therefore, the only solution that offers an opportunity for a comprehensive improvement of the situation is the construction of a new children’s hospital, guaranteeing modern and high level of healing and rehabilitation activities with the help of high quality equipment and equipment. The object of the project is, in particular, the execution of construction works together with the facility’s equipment with medical and non-medical equipment. As a result of the construction of the Wielkopolska Children’s Health Centre, the pediatric Hospital Rescue Department will also be established, which the Wielkopolska Voivodeship did not have until now.
