The main objective of the project is to implement, within 48 months of a comprehensive programme of improvement of the educational process at the Silesian University of Technology and changes in the functioning of the University corresponding to the concept of the development of higher education enshrined in the Law on Higher Education and Science of 20 July 2018. – The Polish Ministry has achievements and aspirations for functioning as a research university, in which scientific excellence, high level of education, proper organisation, recognition in Poland and abroad, dynamic development and satisfaction of all the activities of researchers are defined by the scholar’s role as well. This project complements previous and current projects. It includes 4 interlinked action packages included in 4 modules: education programmes, traineeships, doctoral programmes and management in higher education institutions.The achievement of the main objective by implementing the abovementioned activities will create the conditions for the sustainable development of the SW: as a research university investing in scientific excellence, adapting to dynamic technological and social development, while ensuring flexible and modern university-based education, inter alia, intermediary, non-discrimination and equal opportunities (including those with different types of disability, regional freedom and labour market); The support will include 4245 students of the Silesian University of Technology, 20 PhD students and 125 employees of the Silesian University of Technology and 125 employees of the Silesian University of Technology.
