The aim of the project “Polona for Libraries 2.0” (hereinafter: Project) is the development of Polona e-service for libraries (hereinafter: e-service of PDB) by improving quality and maturity based on the potential of e-service digital e-service, which will significantly improve individual and institutional users’ access to the resources collected in libraries across the country. E-service PDB is an interface presenting the resources accumulated in the Digital Repository of BN (hereinafter RCBN), which currently contains over 3 million publications. As part of the project, the Polona system will be modernised to enable users: 1) placing an order for digitisation 2) placing an order for file sharing in various formats 3) sharing the results of own research by creating public notes 4) creating public collections and functionalities of creating social websites (at individual user level), on which there will be collections and public notes 5) creating “light” (small-size) public collections and making it easier for users to contact them with scans of the works provided at the user’s request, which will increase the openness and availability of the collections, as well as the ease of viewing of the data of the Internet and the review of the Internet data by means of scanned works at the user’s request, which will increase the openness and availability of the collections, as well as the ease of reviewing of the data of the Internet, and the ease of review of the Internet access data by means of scans of the works made available at the user’s request, which will increase the openness and availability of the collections, as well as the ease of review of the Internet data, and the ease of reviewing the availability of data in various formats (3) sharing the results of own research by creating public notes to digital objects 4) creating public collections and functionalities of creating social websites (at the individual user level), on which there will be a public collections and notes 5) creating “lightless” (little-size) data errors (little size) of pdf files with scans of the works made available at the user’s request, which will increase the availability and accessibility of the collections of the users, as well as the ease of reviewing of the Internet data and the ease of reviewing of the Internet access data (small size) with scanned works on the user’s request, which will increase the openness and availability of the collections, as well as the ease of reviewing of the data of the user and the ease of reviewing the access of the Internet objects and the accessibility of the data of the users on request, which will increase the openness and availability of personal data, as well as the ease of reviewing of data of the Internet, and the ease of reviewing of the data of the Internet (small size) with the scanned works made available at the user’s request, which will increase the openness and availability of personal data, as well as the ease of viewing the Internet data and the review of the Internet data by means of the user’s access files on the user’s request, which will increase open These changes can be achieved through the modernisation of the RCBN in terms of: 1) extension of OCR tools (optical character recognition) 2) development and implementation of a new RCBN architecture based on microservices, modern communication between various components of the system 3) extension of the RCBN API (Application Programming Interface).
