The aim of the project is to create new digital technologies based on the potential and improve the quality of existing public e-services, which will significantly improve access to resources collected in the National Library and libraries across the country and to publishing publishers in a user-friendly way. Services will use advanced metadata search tools, content searches and intelligent filters. The project’s product will be three functionally expanded public e-services, operating in a one stop shop model, with the highest/high maturity available on the open Internet: 1. Integrated OMNIS search engine, 2. E-ISBN publishing repository, 3. Polona in Cloud for libraries. The target group of the Project is individual users, including mainly pupils, students, staff of scientific institutions, teachers. The potential group of recipients of the service is approx. 5.9 million people. The e-ISBN publishing repository service is intended for publishers (target group approx. 1800), who will be able, among others, to securely archive their publications in the BN repository for perpetually. Similar functionalities are also provided by Polona in the cloud for libraries dedicated to a group of over 8 thousand libraries in Poland. In order to provide e-services, the construction of a metadata hub was planned and the hardware and programming extension of the BN repository system was planned. The purchase and implementation of an integrated library resource management system is also essential to launch e-services.
