Purchase of modern low floor tram rolling stock

The project will be implemented in the City of Poznań. The project is important for the inhabitants of Poznań, residents of the whole Poznań agglomeration using rail transport in everyday life, and visitors who occasionally use it. The main objective of the project is to increase the share of environmentally friendly public transport in the service of Poznań and agglomerations by purchasing modern energy-efficient tram rolling stock, which will increase the attractiveness of clean, safe and efficient public transport. Thanks to the implementation of the project, the communication of various functional areas of the City of Poznan will be improved. The subject of the project is the purchase of 60 modern low-floor trams. Three types of trams will be purchased within the project: 10 low-floor two-way trams (low floor share of 23 %) of Moderus BETA type with a depot equipment package capable of handling the tram type purchased; B) 20 low-floor two-way trams (low floor share of 100 %) together with a depot equipment package capable of handling the purchased tram type (c) of 30 low floor trams (low floor participation of 100 %) together with a depot equipment package for handling the type of tram purchased. As a result of the project, the following output indicator will be obtained: Number of passenger rolling stock units purchased in public public transport by public transport: 60 pcs The indicator will be achieved in 2019 (10 pieces in 2017; 18 pcs in 2018; 32 pcs in 2019) Capacity of purchased passenger rolling stock in public public transport of public transport: 12 200 wasps. (1900 wasps in 2017; 3600 persons in 2018; 6700 persons in 2019) In connection with the implementation of the project, it is planned to withdraw the high floor tram rolling stock from the company’s rolling stock (GT8 and 105N type rolling stock).
