Protection against flooding of the city of Słubice

The investment concerns the locality area: Słubice, Nowy Lubusz and Drzecin are located in Słubice County, Lubuskie Voivodeship. The area of the municipality of Słubice (both town and rural areas) protects floodplains. However, they have a fairly unfavourable course relative to the riverbed, causing in many places a narrowing between the collapsing, which, at the time of resilience and the rise of water from the trough, leads to a tightening of the water, thereby exacerbating the loss of stability and increasing the risk of interruption. The main strategic objective of the project is to provide flood protection for housing of the city and the municipality of Słubice. the project aperture consists of the following four components: 1) Expansion of the existing embankment of the river Oder in km 26 + 000 33 + 250. 2) Construction of a circular shaft. 3) Reconstruction of the Black Canal. 4) Reconstruction of the Strugi Raider.
