A far-reaching intelligent optical optical vibration measurement system for perimetric measurements

Monitoring borders and all kinds of critical facilities is a very important but difficult issue to implement. It is sometimes impossible to detect people or vehicles crossing borders. This is due to the constraints of existing infrastructure. Military lands, airports, large factories, railway infrastructure, borders – huge amounts of money are earmarked for security in each country every year. Patrols, mobile and stationary surveillance, thermal cameras and other similar devices are used to protect these areas. However, their capabilities are limited and allow to observe only selected areas. The second important area where the solution we design will be used is the market for seismic sensors, used mainly in mines. They can detect even the slightest blurring, structural vibrations, or earthquakes, which is extremely important that safety concerns. The project will develop a technological solution to monitor borders of various types and detect seismic vibrations, e.g. in mines. In the first case, this will allow the detection of violations over a distance of 70 km, with an accuracy of up to 5 m, which will significantly improve the tightness of borders and reduce the cost of handling their monitoring. The second area of application of the sensor will allow the monitoring of acoustic vibrations, which will significantly increase the level of safety. The demand for such solutions is high. Only in Poland is the Border Guard tasked to protect about 3000 km of borders, of which 1185 km is located outside the Shoengen zone. In addition, we have over 800 sites of strategic importance and tens of thousands of km of railway and electricity infrastructure, theft of which has been reported several thousand times a year.
