Indicators of the general objective: 1 digitised regional operator Effects of digitisation of the regional operator: reduction of water losses by about 30.500 m³/year; —the more efficient use of the company’s human resources, by reducing the number of meter readers by 8 persons (which can be allocated for other activities of the company) In conclusion, the objective of the project aims to optimise the operation of the infrastructure and safety in operation, including the reduction of water losses, in accordance with the objectives of the directives in the water and waste water sector respectively when fulfilling the commitments deriving from the European Directives on waste water treatment (91/271/EEC) and the quality of water intended for human consumption (Directive 98/83/EC).
