Led by the University of Nantes, the Ecole Centrale de Nantes, the CHU of Nantes and the Inserm, the NExT project aims to create an internationally renowned university site, recognised for its expertise in research, training and innovation on two major and interdisciplinary societal issues: health of the Future (Innovative Biotherapy, Nuclear Medicine and Cancer, Precision Medicine) and Industry of the Future (Advanced Production Technologies, Ocean Engineering). Oniris, the Institute of Western Cancerology (ICO), INRA, and the CNRS will also contribute to the implementation and governance of the NExT project. The ERDF shall finance: The project team, The device entitled “NExT Junior Talents”. This device gives young researchers the means to develop their own research project with a dedicated team and to gain faster access to international recognition. IRPs: International Research Partnerships. These research partnerships must bring together at least one group of Nantes researchers and at least two groups of international researchers. The aim of the Innovation Chairs is to support long-term partnerships with all types of companies that wish to rely on a research institution to address challenges or break technological locks.
