The project aims to test the effectiveness of low-impact interventions on soils degraded by the great fire of Picões in 2013, with the implementation of Nature-Based Solutions (SbN) and subsequent ecological restoration of slopes and water lines, in order to combat desertification and increase drought resilience in these territories, as well as reducing the export of sediments that may compromise the tourist development of the Sabor Lakes.
