The object of the project is the construction of a new, complete desulphurisation plant in the Mělník I Power Plant, including the securing, recovery or safe disposal of all products and waste from the exhaust gas desulphurisation process. The selected supplier ensures the project preparation and subsequent complete delivery of turnkey technology. The aim of the project is to reduce emissions of SOx on Eme I for the ecological limit SOx 130 mg/Nm3. The non-realisation of the investment would imply a failure to meet EU standards and, consequently, a significant threat to the supply of heat to the City of Prague.
