Energy renovation of the buildings of the Directorate-General for Social Affairs and Child Protection

The direct objective of the investment is to reduce energy use in the buildings of the Directorate-General for Social Affairs and Child Protection (hereinafter referred to as SZGYF) by increasing energy efficiency and using renewable energy sources, thereby reducing greenhouse gas emissions and dependence on fossil fuels. The objectives of the project are to comply with the Energy Efficiency Directives set by the European Union and to reduce the costs of energy modernisation and maintenance and operation of buildings in SZGYF’s asset management. The buildings to be upgraded under the project do not comply with the existing 7/2006. The requirements of Decree No 24/2000 of the Minister for National Development. The energy investment achieved will reduce global environmental pressure and greenhouse gas emissions, strengthening environmentally conscious energy use in SZGYF buildings.
