Energy renovation of government buildings operated by the Directorate-General for Public Procurement and Supply

The direct objective of the investment is to reduce the energy use of buildings managed by the Directorate-General for Public Procurement and Supply (hereinafter referred to as ‘KEF’) by increasing energy efficiency and using renewable energy sources, thereby reducing greenhouse gas emissions and dependence on fossil fuels. The objectives of the project are to comply with the Energy Efficiency Directives set by the European Union and to reduce the energy renovation and maintenance costs of the buildings in KEF’s asset management. The buildings to be upgraded under the project do not comply with the existing 7/2006. The requirements of Decree No 24/2000 of the Minister for National Development. The energy investment achieved will lead to a reduction in global environmental pressure and greenhouse gas emissions, strengthening the environmentally conscious energy use of buildings managed by KEF.
