Currently, raw water from Szentlőrinc wells is mixed, resulting in water quality parameters exceeding the limit value in the supplied drinking water: boron, fluoride, ammonium and sodium. In order to improve the water quality supplied, the renovation and expansion of boron, fluoride and sodium-free wells, the connection of the Tartatuszta wells to the raw water pipeline system, on the other hand, the construction of a new complex water treatment equipment for the removal of ammonium exceeding the limit value in the raw water after mixing the water is necessary. Deammonium decontamination can be solved by biological means or by breaking point chlorination.
