The project proposal is aimed at implementing measures for the closure and reclamation of a municipal landfill for household waste on the territory of the town of Pleven, located in the village of Bukovlak, Pleven municipality, Pleven district, which does not comply with the requirements of Regulation No 6/2013 on the conditions and requirements for the construction and operation of landfills and other facilities and installations for the recovery and disposal of waste. The landfill is located in a property with ID 06999.41.9, the location is identified in accordance with Skica No 15-613710-04.12.2017 on the cadastral map and cadastral registers approved by Order No RD-18-123/15.12.2016 of the Executive Director of the GCC.The area of the landfill, which will be recultivated as a result of the implementation of the technical recultivation project is 17.32 ha.In order to ensure the sustainability of the project, the following main activities are included in the scope of the project proposal:- Preparation and implementation including (Design, Analysis, Costs for administrative fees, construction and author’s supervision in the execution of a site: ‘Closure and recultivation of an existing municipal landfill for solid municipal waste on the territory of the Municipality of Pleven');- Technical recultivation of landfills subject to proceedings for infringement of EU law in connection with the judgment of the Court of Justice of the European Union of 16 July 2015 in Case C-145/14; — Organisation and management, information and communication measures and the preparation of public procurement documents.’
