Construction of social housing in the town of Stara Zagora

The project aims at the integration of vulnerable and other disadvantaged groups by providing modern social housing for their accommodation through a complete reconstruction of a 4-storey building located on 26 Musala Street in Stara Zagora, UPI XX-3910, 527a according to the plan of Stara Zagora and the adjacent yards (Private Municipal Property Act No 15381/22.12.2015). The site of intervention is located in the ZBI area of predominant social character. The project includes the following works for the reconstruction of the site described above and the surrounding areas: • Construction works; •Authorial supervision;•Publicity and visualisation;•Audit;•Management and implementation.The implementation of the project will provide modern social housing, in which representatives of the target group will be accommodated, in accordance with Article 6 of the Regulation on the terms and conditions of use of the social service “social housing” on the territory of the municipality of Stara Zagora, adopted by the Municipal Council by Decision No 1283 of 18 December 2017; amended and supplemented by Decision No 1480 of 29 March 2018, the project also provides for improvement of the access of disabled persons to the above-mentioned site, with only equipment and furnishings which are part of the overall modernisation of the respective site and lead to an improvement of the quality of the respective service. The building on 26 Musala Street will be rebuilt into 69 dwellings, where in 8 Garsoniers, 19 one-bedroom and 42 two-bedroom apartments, a total of 232 persons are expected to be accommodated, of which 116 representatives of marginalised communities, including Roma.
