The Municipality of Stara Zagora is a specific beneficiary under procedure BG16RFOP001-1.001-039“Implementation of Integrated Plans for Graduation and Development 2014-2020”, Priority Axis 1: “Sustainable Integrated Urban Development”, Investment priority: “Promoting low-carbon strategies in all types of territories, in particular in urban areas, including the promotion of sustainable multimodal urban mobility and climate change adaptation and mitigation measures”. In this regard, Stara Zagora Municipality will implement the project “Modernisation and Development of Sustainable Urban Transport in Stara Zagora — Phase II”, concerning investment priority 2: “Integrated urban transport”. This project falls under the investment priority “Promotion of strategies for low-carbon development in all types of territories, in particular in urban areas, including the promotion of sustainable multimodal urban mobility and climate change adaptation and mitigation measures”.Project “Modernisation and Development of Sustainable Urban Transport in Stara Zagora — Phase II” is a natural continuation of Phase I of the Integrated Urban Transport Project, implemented with funding under OPRD 2007-2013. Phase II of the project includes the following activities: 1.Construction of road infrastructure; 2.Introduction of an automated charging system (ACT);3.Building a Urban Transport Management System (UTP);4.Rehabilitation of the repair hall of the trolleybus depot;5.Authoristic supervision, within the meaning of the ZUT, for a working project “Reconstruction of overpass over railway line and Slavyanski Blvd. on Patriarch Evtimii Blvd. — Stara Zagora and bringing the gauge of the road lane on Patriarch Evtimii Blvd.,”6.Construction supervision according to the ZUT;7.Introduction of the sites into operation; 8.Publicity and visualisation of the project;9.Project audit;10.Project organisation and management.
