OH, YEAH, YEAH! — Inclusion, experiential and knowledge visible

The aim of the project is to build ways of organising learning for young adults in upper secondary school education that engage in learning and provide the student with the necessary postgraduate and working life skills already during adult upper secondary school studies. The objectives and measures of the project are:- gamification and inclusion — badges- Multimedia materials- Adult High School of Sustainable Development and Ecosocial Education The objectives of the project will increase students’ motivation and commitment to adult upper secondary school studies and strengthen the transition to future studies by providing students with a realistic understanding of their own skills and diverse ways of developing comprehensive competences as defined by curricula and international organisations (e.g. EU, OECD). Game-based and inclusive pedagogical learning packages and Multimedia materials supporting learning offer natural and inspiring ways for different learners to develop their own knowledge and skills skills required for working life and further studies. Development work is mainly carried out on-line studies, but learning and teaching are also diversified by developing sustainable adult upper secondary schools. The main target group of the project is adult upper secondary school students. The objectives involve both pedagogical development that directly affects the student target groups and the related in-service training of teaching and guidance staff. Staff will thus be the second key target group of the project, which will contribute to the dissemination of concrete outputs and results already during the project period. The project team is multidisciplinary and comprehensively examines the project portfolio from a wide range of perspectives. The team is supported by the project’s steering and evaluation team, which involves actors outside the project and a representative of the sponsor. The operating models and pedagogical solutions developed in the project are described in such a way that they can be shared openly for everyone’s benefit. This is to ensure that further use remains open and the outputs serve our target group, i.e. young adult upper secondary school students and teaching and guidance staff in the future. The activities and outputs of the project will be blocked during the project period. In addition, a consolidated report on the operation of the project will be produced at the final stage. The models and outputs developed in the project will be consolidated as part of the operations of Nettilukio, Otavan Otava High School. In the course of the project, exactly the methods and models will be developed that have a genuine need for use in teaching and guidance and in supporting student transitions. All materials produced are open materials.
