The cab in Helsinki will be piloted and created in Helsinki with a low threshold Ohjaamo service model for young people who are not in employment, education or training. The result is a new type of work approach combining multidisciplinary skills and a cross-border service model that can better serve young people according to their needs. Measures include the development of services, cooperation, competence and information system, coaching and guidance of young people. Cab Helsinki develops forms of mobile work, employer cooperation and digiOhjaamo Helsinki’s operating models. In addition to public administration actors and employers in the region, the project will create and intensify cooperation with the third sector. In the first years of the pilot project, 22 000 visits to the Helsinki services have been made. The services have created paths to work and education for hundreds of young people and more than 300 young people from Helsinki have been employed directly through employer cooperation events. Cab Helsinki has compiled development models, results and evaluations in publications and presented them to local, national and international networks.
