The aim of the project is 1) to enable the growth of Lapland’s key industries by increasing the number of working-age population in Lapland, in particular by attracting the talents that enable growth in the region and those in the required fields. 2) to position Lapland as an environment of superior quality of life and as a region of bold people where dreams are easy to make reality, and as a growth center of their industries, where the talents have unique chances of success.3) Support the recruitment of companies further by providing potential migrants with information on living in Lapland.4) Increasing understanding of migration potential, the brand position of Lapland as a place of residence and the factors and imaginations affecting the migration decision through a target group survey. Measures:1) To carry out a study on migrant positivity, the perceptions of moving to Lapland and the brand position of Lapland. 2) To implement inspiration campaigns together with brand partners, as well as targeted, sector-specific recruitment campaigns both at home and abroad when needed. 3) Continuous targeted marketing for potential migrants.4) Further develop digital services (Find your place in Lapland) that help migrants find the right offer for them and companies that meet their needs5) Develop an ecosystem of Lapland’s talent marketing by providing target group and market information and marketing expertise.Results: As a result of the project, the talent and competitiveness of the companies in Lapland and Lapland will be improved, labour shortages and labour mismatches will be eased. As a result of the project, Lapland will be positioned in Finland and internationally as the number one in the quality of life, the image and brand will be strengthened, and the talent appeal will increase and the imaginative barrier to migration will be reduced.Potential migrants will find vacancies and apartments and individual solutions more easily. The talent and attraction power of small and medium-sized enterprises in Lapland is increasing.
