The industry and the services sector are undergoing massive digitalisation of products and services and the introduction of new technologies. The hospital of the future will inevitably have a massive digital service system. The hospital of the future will not have new walls, but rather new digital and technological solutions to shift care from hospital to home and outpatient care. This is a technological change in human behaviour that affects all services, including social and healthcare services. To support this development, this project will launch a future hospital innovation platform for piloting, testing, testing and demonstrating the components of the digital service system. The key novelty value is a unique way of taking into account different actors, enabling the application and testing of technological innovations in a clinical environment, for the first time as a permanent model also in Satakunta. Similar activities in Finland have focused mainly on university hospitals. The idea of the project is to improve national concepts and to agile them, especially thanks to Satakunta’s affordable size. Satakunta has a particularly wide network of actors in robotics, artificial intelligence and data analytics, whose know-how in the project is utilised for the needs of health care and the well-being of the citizen.
